World Art Dubai 2026 (19-22 November): How Artists and Galleries Can Turn Fair Visitors into Followers and Buyers
World Art Dubai runs 19–22 November 2026 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City, according to the DWTC events calendar as reported by Gulf News. A related show, Onset Expo, runs 20–22 November at the same venue. We could not find an official organiser page with further details, such as ticket prices and visitor numbers, so we do not quote any; check the organiser’s website before you plan your visit.
If you are an artist, illustrator, ceramicist or small gallery in the UAE, an art fair has one big problem: people look, enjoy, and leave without buying. Most art is not bought on the spot. It is bought two weeks later, after the visitor has looked at your work again, thought about it, and asked a question. Your job at the fair is to make sure that second look is possible.
World Art Dubai tips for artists: make the second look easy
A buyer standing at your booth is interested right now. Within an hour they will have seen hundreds of other works. Give them a way to take you with them:
- Instagram is the portfolio. An Instagram NFC Follow Stand with QR at your table lets a visitor tap a phone or scan the code and follow you. They can browse the full body of work later, at home, and you have a way to show new pieces.
- WhatsApp is the enquiry. Art buyers ask about size, framing, commissions and delivery. A WhatsApp NFC Chat Card with QR starts a chat directly, which is easier than typing a number from a business card. Hand it to the people who ask a question about price or shipping.
Prepare before the fair
- Clean up your Instagram. Pin your best three works, put your medium and city in the bio, and make sure the link or contact method is current.
- Prepare a price list. A price list on paper or a saved WhatsApp message answers the early questions faster than you can speak. Keep it in your own wording; this is your pricing, not ours.
- Decide how you will take payment and arrange delivery. Buyers drop out when the next step is unclear.
Track who asked about what
After a long day it is hard to remember who liked the blue canvas and who asked about a commission. At the end of each day write a short list: name or handle, the piece, what they asked, and the follow-up date. Message everyone on that list within 48 hours with a photo of the piece they liked.
For small galleries and studios
If you represent several artists, you do not need a separate stand for each. A single All-in-One NFC Business Card profile can hold your gallery contact, website, WhatsApp and Instagram in one place, so visitors have one tap for everything. You can update the profile later in the dashboard, for instance to point at a new exhibition.
Be honest about what this does
A stand or card does not create demand for your art. It removes the friction between a visitor’s interest and your profile. The art, the story and the follow-up still do the selling.
