Google Business Profile 'Collected Info': Check What Google's Automated Calls Added About Your Dubai Business
If your Google listing suddenly says you have customer parking, curbside pickup or walk-ins welcome, and you never typed it, the cause may be a phone call. Google has a Google Business Profile Collected Info tab that shows details its automated assistant gathered from your business. Here is how to check it, and what we do not yet know.
What Collected Info is
Search Engine Roundtable (Barry Schwartz, 13 July 2026) reported that the dashboard now has a Collected info tab, reached through edit business profile. Google's wording, as quoted there, is that the info “was collected in phone or chat conversations with your business” and that Google “may occasionally call your business using an automated assistant to verify everyday details.” Examples shown include curbside pickup, customer parking and walk-ins.
You can review each detail and delete individual items; deleting removes them from Google Search and Maps. The same article reports that Google later confirmed the feature as live in a 14 September 2026 post: “You can now review details verified by Google's automated assistant right inside your Business Profile dashboard.”
What we could not confirm
- An earlier summary of the feature described it as available only in select regions, languages and business categories. We found no source saying whether UAE businesses or Arabic-language calls are included.
- We found no report of this happening to a Dubai business, so treat the UAE angle as preparation.
A five-minute check for Dubai owners
- Open your Business Profile and look for the Collected info tab. If it is missing, nothing is wrong; it may simply not be available to you yet.
- Read each item against reality. A wrong “walk-ins accepted” or “parking available” sends customers to you with the wrong expectation, and that tends to show up in reviews.
- Delete what is wrong, and tell the staff who answer the phone that an automated caller may ring and ask simple yes/no questions. Answer carefully, because what is said on the call may end up on your public listing.
- Re-check monthly, and again before Ramadan, Eid and National Day when hours and services change.
Keep the public picture accurate, and fresh
Customers often decide in seconds, and a wrong detail costs you trust before you have met them. Facts on your profile are only half of what a stranger sees; recent reviews are the other half. A steady flow is easier than a push. The Google Review NFC Stand with QR (AED 59 per piece) sits on a counter or table and takes the customer straight to your Google review page. If staff prefer to hand something over, the Google Review NFC Card with QR is AED 29 per piece. Prices were checked against our live product data when this post was published. Neither product changes what Google collects on calls.
The bottom line
Collected Info is a quiet change that can put words in your listing. Check it, correct it, and keep your reviews current so the rest of the page tells the true story.
